Tube Challenge '07
Tube Challenge '07 - The Route
The theme of this years Children in Need was
"Do Something Different", therefore we opted to start from Chesham. As far as we knew no other attempt had started from Chesham & finished at Amersham, so this really was different.

Our first train was the 05:19 to Watford, which departed on time, The next train left Watford one minute late and was held outside of Croxley, so unfortunately we just missed the bus at North Harrow.

The first run was 1.2 km to Rayners Lane in sub zero temperatures, it was a bit of a shock to the system!
Planned Runs During the Challenge (or possible bus connections)

Baker Street to Marylebone 440m - Scheduled for 23:11
TOTAL DISTANCE 12.7km
Amersham was the last station to be visited. Kevin & Antony   made the last connection at Baker Street with 4 minutes to spare and arrived at Amersham at 00:58 which gave them a time of 19 hours 39 minutes. Jack & James had to abort at Wembley Central as Jack had damaged his knee, however the lads went back out on Saturday and did the last few stations to record a time over 30 hours!

Amersham is the furthest station from the centre of London (27 miles) and also the highest at 490ft above sea level.
