Welcome to the official Tube Challenge site for Children in Need 2008.

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for Children in Need (CiN) and at the same time raise the profile of Tube Challenging. Last year we managed to raise over £2000 for CiN and this year, with your support, we are hoping to do even better.
What is Tube Challenge?
Tube Challenge is the accepted name for the Guinness World Record (tm) for visiting all London Underground stations in the shortest time possible, of which there are currently 270.

There are other smaller challenges, such as the annual Zone 1 Challenge, but Guinness only recognise the challenge of visiting all stations. The Zone 1 challenge involves visiting all 64 stations within Z1 on a standard tube map.

Tube Challenge is a sport which involves route planning, physical fitness and a large slice of luck!

Who holds the current Record?
The former Guinness World Record was held by Antony, Jamie, Kevin, Phillip & Ryan Brown, John Stark & Rachel Brabbins, with a time of 17h56m28s, set on 18th April 2008.

This record was beaten by just 17 seconds on 8th July 2008 by the team of Andi James, Sara Wearn & Martin Hazel. The record was featured in the 2008 edition of the Guinness Book of Records, at which time it was held by Håkan Wolgé & Lars Andersson of Sweden, set on 26th September 2006
